United We Work is a program developed by United Way of Southeast Missouri in collaboration with the Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority (CTA), area employers, social service agencies, and banking partners. The program is designed to help employees overcome obstacles to employment and self-sufficiency.
Follow the steps below to get started with United We Work.
- Fill out the signup form below.
- Schedule a bank visit: Reach out to one of our listed banking partners (The Bank of Missouri or First State Community Bank) to set up a 30-minute appointment to create your budget. United We Work covers transportation to and from the bank.
- Arrange transportation: Contact Cape Girardeau Country Transit Authority (CTA) to schedule your rides. Plan ahead, allow an hour for CTA’s arrival, and be prepared to arrange your own transportation for the first two days.
