Sign Up for Ride United
Ride United: Transportation Access helps individuals get to and from job interviews when transportation is a barrier to employment. Once approved, rides are coordinated through Lyft, and participants receive ride details by text message with the option to manage their trip by text or through the Lyft app. Ride United is a national United Way initiative, locally implemented by United Way of Southeast Missouri, to help connect people to jobs and long-term economic stability.
Follow the steps below to get started with Ride United Transportation Access – Interviews.
- Fill out the signup form below.
- We review your application.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a text message from Lyft with your ride information.
- Manage your ride through text message or directly in the Lyft app.
- Lyft will pick you up, take you to your interview, and return you home.
- If you are offered the job, contact us and we will help enroll you in United We Work for ongoing transportation to and from work.
